Selected Achievements: Department of Chemistry

1.Bedanta Madhab Phukon emerged as the champion of the Traditional Dress

competition, which was held on January 30th, 2023, as part of the G-20/

Y-20 Pre-Event 2023. The competition was organized by the IQAC and

Incubation Innovation Centre of Jorhat Central College, in collaboration

with Jorhat District Administration and the Public Health and Engineering

Exchange. Bedanta Madhab Phukon's exceptional skills and attention to

detail in presenting traditional attire earned him the coveted first prize.

2. Bedanta Madhab Phukon was awarded first prize in the Traditional Dress competition, 

recognizing his exceptional performance and attention to detail in presenting traditional attire.

3. The Department of Chemistry was awarded first prize in the Wall Magazine competition,

showcasing their exceptional creativity and knowledge in the field of chemistry through

their innovative display.

4. The department emerged as the champions of the 2022 College Cricket Championship,

demonstrating exceptional teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

 The Vice-principal of the college conferred the first prize to the winning cricket team.
