The Department of Physics, N. N. Saikia College, in collaboration with the Department of Physics, D.C.B. Girls’ College, organized a lecture on 11th February 2026 to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The programme was held at 9:30 A.M. in the Conference Hall. Dr. Binita Pathak, Assistant Professor, Dibrugarh University, delivered an inspiring talk on the contributions and challenges of women in science. She encouraged students to pursue scientific careers with confidence. The session concluded with an interactive discussion and vote of thanks, making the event informative and successful.
