A Sensitization Programme on the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) was conducted today at Nanda Nath Saikia College, Titabar. The programme aimed to create awareness about recent trends in teacher education and the future career prospects under ITEP. Heads, teachers, and students from neighbouring higher education institutions participated along with faculty members and students of the host college. Prof. (Dr.) Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Chairperson, ERC, NCTE (Government of India), delivered the resource lecture highlighting policy perspectives, academic structure, and professional opportunities related to ITEP. The programme facilitated academic interaction and dissemination of information on reforms in teacher education.
