The college celebrated World Soil Day 2025 with a focused and informative program featuring Dr. Bharat Chandra Nath from AAU, Jorhat, as the resource person. The event highlighted the significance of healthy soil in ensuring sustainable agriculture and long-term human well-being. Through the session, students were introduced to key concepts linking soil health, food security and environmental sustainability. The program aimed to enhance awareness, encourage responsible practices and strengthen students’ understanding of soil as a vital natural resource. Overall, the observance was conducted in a neutral and educational manner, contributing to the academic enrichment of the participants.


A Memorandum of Understanding with the NGO Rakta Sanjeevani has been signed to promote mutually beneficial initiatives for the student community. This collaboration aims to enhance awareness about social responsibility, encourage participation in community-oriented programs, and create opportunities for students to contribute to meaningful causes. Through joint activities, workshops, and outreach efforts, the partnership seeks to support both academic growth and civic engagement. The MOU establishes a framework for cooperation that will enable students to gain valuable experience while assisting the organization in its service initiatives. Both institutions look forward to a constructive and impactful association. This understanding aims to strengthen efforts that benefit all stakeholders involved.
