With reference to the letter no. SSA/JRT/Observation Day/909/2022/362 date 21^st June, 2025, the Jorhat district administration notified to organise Jorhat Jila Divas and Book Donation Drive in the Central Libraries of each and every college in the district on 1^st July 2025. As such, Nanda Nath Saikia College organized a book donation drive on the very day. Several faculty members of different disciplines donated a number of books.

Principal of the college, Dr. Suvangshu Dutta inaugurated the program and highlighted the importance of reading a book in hard copy. Dr. Dhruba Jyoti Borgohain, Librarian, C.S. Central Library, N.N. Saikia College, Titabar interacted with the book donors highlighting the importance of the celebration along with benefits of developing good reading habits among us. Senior faculty members of the college like Dr. Jonali Saikia Borkakoty, Dr. Snigdha Rani Rabha, Mr. Hemendra Thengal discussed on importance of reading a book in today’s ICT driven era. The Physical Society of the Department of Physics, Nanda Nath Saikia College commemorated the second National Space Day on August 23, 2025. Dr. Budhindra Nath Saikia, retired faculty member from the Physics Department, was invited as a prominent speaker for this space event. Three fifth-semester students namely, Bedanta Hazarika, Priti Priyomi Rajkhowa and Bobid Gogoi, gave presentation on different topics. Hand-made poster competition was held before this event, and prizes of this competition were distributed on the same day. Around 60 students participated the event.
